I’ve noticed that my Good Morning mix has logged over 1400 downloads and counting within the last two days alone, yet can’t find any trace of where those hits/downloads could be coming from. Very strange…. Either it’s a hacker, a zombie computer, a bug, or that mix has become suddenly very popular in some eastern block country. I’m hoping it’s the latter, but does anyone have any tricks to getting to the bottom of all this download traffic? It’s seems to only be affecting that one mix, with no additional spike in page views, which makes me think that this is not normal web usage.

It may be a direct link to the file in which case it probably wouldn’t increase the page view – The only way to determine the source would be to use a stats analyzer that works serverside using the apache logs as opposed to a service like analytics.
