For this mix, I crossed all sorts of genre borders and included psybient, IDM, dubstep, downtempo, psydub, glitch, and a dash of ambient and sloa goa. I’m rather fond of this mix as it feels cohesive, yet covers so much psychill ground.

Crispy - Psilicon Dreams 5 (March 2010)

Check out this fantastic coupling of psychedelic, glitchy, chillout tunes from Sun In Aquarius. It’s a free download, so you best do yourself a favor and add these gems to your bloated music collection. You can be sure that I’ll be using both tracks in future DJ sets. Sun In Aquarius is a Experimental Electronic project from up and coming sound designer Jake Rose (23). Thick sonic soundscapes and liquidy glitches interweave with the psychedelic, cryptic lyrics of jim morrison and the doors in this FREE release.

Crispy - Psilicon Dreams 4 (Feb 2010)

This mix has been available at the Chillography site for a while, but I’m also posting it here in an effort to consolidate all of my mixes in one place. One sunny summer afternoon, at a lovely Seattle waterfront park, this mix was the first of a full day of sun-worshipping chillout sets by some of our favorite Chillography guests. Crispy at Chillography 201

Here is a recording of the my live Leave Trace set from the Oscillate ambient showcase at Chop Suey on Sept. 9, 2009. It was my first solo live set, playing all original music, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It features some material you may have heard in my Regression Session mix, but there was also a good chunk of newer material in the set. Enjoy!
